HOW IT IS MADE

This item has been crafted using the technique of needle felting.

It involves repeatedly stabbing a barbed felting needle into a mass of wool fibers, which tangle and compact together to form a solid shape. The barbs on the needle catch and bind the fibers together, allowing to sculpt and form. To create a 3D sculpture it can take hours of work and thousands of stabs from start to finish.
